An Endless Riddle is a short film produced as a spatial reflection on the uncanny and alienating world behind intensive greenhouse horticulture in the Netherlands. Moving between, within and through greenhouses, the film challenges the viewer’s understanding of their position. Led from one scenario to the next, the only point of orien- tation is offered by the reoccurring utterance of a riddle. As the viewer moves further into the film, across the endless replicas these infrastructures produce, they may find them- selves asking — like the riddle from the film — where am I?
